So I was working last night and I was doing my thing. Take the movies, help the customer, give them the total. Then the customer pays. Often they'll pay with plastic or a larger bill, but sometimes, and here's what gets me excited, sometimes they'll pay in exact change!

It never fails, I hear them start to rustle in their change purse, or jingle coins in their pockets and I start to wriggle and kind of shimmy. Beaming smiles, I take the coins and hang them their purchase with absolute glee.

I dont know what it is about change that gets me so stoked up. Maybe its the exactness of it all, or if its the act of using coins, less work for me or just a reason to enjoy my job.

What ever it is, exact change never fails to make my day




I'm headed up to the Valley on tuesday night. I'm pleased about that. I get to see my parents and friends and spend some time in an incredible area. But what i'm most excited about is flying down the highway harshing out to some tunes! I just love a good car ride. Music playing, all that time to just hang and enjoy some quality time with your brain. Priceless!!

I'm having a hard time expressing tonight so I'll just leave you with a shot of my mystery bruise! lets play the "where-did-THAT-come-from" game.
