Listening to Cody sing and make bubbles in the bath has opened my eyes.

Not in the sense that, "I CAN SEE!!!!!!"

More in the sense that I've been quite selfish lately, talking only about MY problems and MY worries.

You see, I am very lucky. I have a wonderful fiance, who loves me so much. He tells me everyday how lovely i am and how happy he is. Lots of people don't have that blessing. We've had the most incredible year and a bit. Meeting, falling in love and moving on with our lives together has been absolutely hilarious.

And he loves my feet. As he just now informed me.

Today, we sat in the area above the new QF, eating bowls of mashed potatoes and giggling hysterically. Then we had a mutual bath, with boiled pots of water because our water tank is small, that bathtub is filled with laughs.

And we're not the only ones that found love this year. Our good friend, Sam, has built himself a wonderful family now.

Moving will be hard, and adjusting to a new city will be trying. Getting married and having babies and growing old will always test us. But we're going to be okay. Because Cody sings, and I laugh and between the two of us we always try and find the happy medium.

It usually ends in me, eating.

Oh dear.
