All Cody and I have been talking about is our
upcoming trip to the tattoo convention in our local
capital city of Victoria!

So I've decided to do a little visual posting, of our last trip into tattoo land. this was back in november when we went to Vic to meet tattoo legend and guru, Bill Baker. He is a saint. A wonderful, well spoken, incredibly gifted and talented tattoo artist. Cody had the pleasure of being tattooed by him and I simply got to enjoy the presence of his company and of the other artists at Government Street Tattoo. Three wonderful artists in an absolutely authentic 1940's style tattoo parlor.

I adored every minute.

Being tattooed in such a setting, by absolute legends gives a huge feeling of age old connection. How many hundreds of years have men, and more so lately, women been painted upon with needle and ink. Its like passing along a story, a tradition, simply through the act of being tattooed and its something I feel extremely proud of being involved in every time I go through the journey of being tattooed.

I would suggest being tattooed to just about anyone. Its an extremely personal, affecting, intimate event and a wonderful experience for anyone.
